LA based artist Claud has made the announcement that their debut album Super Monster will be released on Friday 12 February.
This will be the very first album release on Phoebe Bridgers’ recently launched record label Saddest Oceans.
As a teaser we've been treated to new single ’Soft Spot’ - the follow up to ‘Gold’ which was gifted to us on 13 October.
‘… Sigh. I have a soft spot for lots of people, places, and things. This song is about knowing I can’t be with this one specific person, but my feelings won’t go away… I still hope I run into them, or they randomly text me about something. It’s just me romanticizing what I can’t have and being like “but what if…”"
Across it’s 13 tracks, Super Monster is a story of lost and found loves, self-discovery and self-definition and was recorded at Electric Lady studios in New York.
In the meantime i'll have Gold, Soft Spot and me personal favourite, Wish You Were Gay on repeat and hope for a cheeky Aussie tour soon.
