Seventeen year old British rising star Alfie Templeman has today shared his vibrant new single "Happiness in Liquid Form", out now via Chess Club Records.

Co-written with Justin Young of The Vaccines and premiering overnight as Annie Mac’s Hottest Record in the World on BBC Radio 1 overnight, ‘Happiness In Liquid Form’ stands as an uplifting return for the teenage wunderkind in 2020.

Describing the inspiration behind the new single, Templeman says:

“‘Happiness…’ is the most colourful sugary disco-pop song I’ve put out so far. It came about so easily one day in the studio with Justin from the Vaccines and his right hand man Will and by the end of the day we knew we had something special on our hands. It's a tough time for everyone right now so hope this brings a little happiness into people's lives!”

Templeman began playing drums at just seven years-old and taught himself guitar, bass and production aged 13. With his high school studies now complete, Templeman looks forward to focussing fully on honing his craft as a stellar young songwriting talent and cementing his reputation as a genuinely thrilling emerging artist. ‘Happiness In Liquid Form’ is the exhilarating next chapter in the story of an artist who is truly only just getting started.
