Serving up spirited grooves since their formation in 2017, Hill Town are well versed in laying down fluid, rhythmic guitars, catchy melodies and honest lyrics.

The Australian four-piece indie rock outfit hail from
the Southern Beaches of Sydney, hence their connection to El Sol.

Drawing inspiration from Catfish and
the Bottlemen and Last Dinosaurs; Josh, Nick, Alex and Lewis have been touring their brand of bruising rock and roll around The Shire and their much-loved inner west of Sydney city.

After two strong singles,
the band have now signed with El Sol Records for the release of the “Closure” single from their upcoming EP.

El Sol Records is a development label formed in the bottom of a tequila bottle after another night at the renowned Mexican restaurant on the Kingsway in Cronulla.

Full of big hits and even louder guitar, Hill Town’s “Closure” captures all the chaos and mental turmoil of being trapped in a situation you know is hurting you but “just can’t seem to break these chains.” Lead singer Josh explains:

“‘Closure’ is about being gripped by a vice or a relationship that you know is toxic. Humans are creatures of habit. Ultimately, we stick with what we know and what makes us comfortable.  This song is about feeling powerless to remove yourself from bad situations.”

“Closure” will be available on all streaming services from Friday, September 6 th and Hill Town will be

performing at the launch of El Sol Records Sunday, September 8 th at El Sol in Cronulla.
