L-R: Andy, Asher, Grudge, Dyl
From sold out tour after sold out tour, to a string of constantly catchy-but-meaningful singles, and hilarious music videos, Good Doogs just keep proving they are leading the wave of new surf-punk in Australia.
With their latest single "I’m Listening" the trio from Mandurah WA give you something a little bit different.
Still catchy AF - with sweet guitar licks, BIG drums, and more singalong moments than you can poke a stick at - the new single is a little heavier than their previous releases, and shows The Doogs have a lot more surprises hidden away.
As well as now welcoming Andy officially into the band after the end of the upcoming October ‘Andy Is In The Bandy’ tour (yay Andy!) making them a 4-piece, and are playing Falls Festival nationally over New Years, the band are also currently writing their debut album, scheduled for release next year. "I’m Listening" will be the first taste of their debut LP.
"I’m Listening is a romantic ballad about the courtship process and all the steps from that up to making love. We tried to make the song a little bit more dark and brooding from our normal stuff, and really tried to make it punchy so the guitars hit you like a wall of sound as the chorus comes in." – Grudge
"This song is about having sex." - Asher
"Effectively the song is about having sex – I just don’t really know how to put it into a nice paragraph for you…" - Grudge
