Good things come to those who wait! After months of postponements, the Australian electronic dance collective Haiku Hands are finally hitting the road this April and May to celebrate the release of their 2020 self titled album. After riding the rollercoaster of lockdowns and ever changing restrictions (we're looking at you W.A.) the Melbourne-Sydney based trio are kicking off their We Got Vinyl tour with dates in Gembrook, Sandstone Point, Adelaide, Sydney, Fremantle, Busselton, Melbourne, Brisbane and Canberra.
If you need any further convincing, here's a look at 5 Things You Need To Know About A Haiku Hands Live Show:
5 Things To Know About A Haiku Hands Live Show
1. Know that you will walk out from that show full of endorphins, like you’ve done a work out.
2. Know you will forget about everything else completely for that one hour.
3. Know that your makeup will sweat off your face (our’s will also).
4. Know there will be costume changes, dancers, lights, a giant planet and complete mayhem.
5. Know that all our fans are legends.

To add to the good news bandwagon, the've also dropped their brand new single 'Shoot The Shot' along with a truly hypnotic visualiser. Says the band on the track:
The lyrics in 'Shoot the Shoot' are inspired by a letter by Amelia Earhart, a pilot in the 30’s, and innovators who forge new paths. It’s an ode to unconventional lives and people who go against the grain...In some way we’d all pushed through personal barriers and pushed ourselves out of our comfort zones in order to birth and be part of Haiku Hands.
'Shoot The Shot', along with previous single ’Conclusions' and alternate versions of ‘Onset’ and ‘Fashion Model Art’, will be included in the deluxe edition of Haiku Hands which will also be available as a limited edition classic black vinyl on Spinning Top Records/Mad Decent.
Too much good news for a Wednesday!
